A guardian or just a fashion statement? This question pops up to many when it comes to picking the best cases for their special little gadgets. From Iphones, to Androids, Blackberries, Tablets bla bla bla. Some say they need it to protect their gadgets, some say they want to stand out. But what is the main reason behind getting these over-priced cases?

Take iPad 2 as example, when it was first released, Apple introduced smart cover. Apparently, these smart covers are genius. Lets have a look. It does in fact look kinda pretty, made available in 2 different materials, and 10 different colours. Smart? Oh yes, it does look pretty smart as it gives a "on-off" relationship between the cover and your iPad 2. But, how genius is it really? Doesn't seem like a genius to me when it only covers the front, and not the back. Price tag? RM 299.00. Absolutely Genius..

This is definitely more of guardian to me, with it giving ultimate protection to your gadget whilst in the case. What about when it's being taken out from the case while using it? 50-50 chance of damaging your device, not good! Besides, this looks hideous!
